Job summary

NOV Rig Technologies in Houston seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to produce precision parts on lathes and milling machines. You will load parts, set up, perform first article inspections, and ensure on-time quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Must read blueprints, use precision gauges, and maintain safe, clean work areas while following NOV policies and procedures. High school diploma or GED required; experience with NC programs a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with CNC milling and turning preferred.
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, operate CNC machines (lathes and mills) to produce quality parts in a timely, safe manner.
• Load parts, perform setup changes, and conduct first article inspections on production runs.
• Read blueprints, determine dimensions and tolerances, and adjust controls as needed.
• Keep work area clean and follow all NOV policies and procedures.
• Identify and address issues before production starts and maintain preventative maintenance
• Comply with HSE requirements and participate in continuous improvement
