Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Antigo, Wisconsin, seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to read blueprints, set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, and ensure tight tolerances with precision measuring tools. You will download programs, calculate feeds and speeds, and inspect parts to quality standards in a safety‑minded environment.

The role requires prior CNC experience, understanding GD&T, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience with precision inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges).
• One year Machine Tool Operation certificate or 3–6 months related experience, or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to ITAR and UNNPI regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read, process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine dimensions and requirements.
• Locate and download programs from a DNC system and set up tooling.
• Interpret work instructions and calculate feeds and speeds for various steel grades and alloys.
• Set up measuring equipment and routinely check calibration for quality inspections.
• Operate CNC milling machines or lathes and verify conformance with GD&T standards.
