Allegion in South Carolina is seeking a CNC Machining technician to setup and operate Hurco-based 3-axis VMCs, program using WinMax/Max 5, and produce parts to spec.

You will read engineering drawings, perform first piece and in-process inspections, optimize setups for repeat jobs, maintain safe 5S-compliant workspace, and contribute to process improvements.

The role requires 2+ years of CNC experience and a high school diploma; we offer health benefits, 401(k) match, and tuition assistance.

Competenze

• Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years CNC machining setup and operation experience.
• Understanding feeds/speeds across materials (stainless/mild steel, brass, aluminum).
• Read engineering prints and GD&T.
• Experience programming via conversational interfaces or CAD/CAM.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Program Hurco 3-axis VMCs using WinMax/Max 5 and G-code.
• Set up work-holding, tooling, and 5S compliant shop area.
• Machining and inspect parts to spec.
• Interpret drawings and perform first piece inspections.
