Opti Staffing Group in Sherwood, OR is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a local manufacturing team that fabricates equipment for farming and logging. You will set-up and operate mills and lathes, read blueprints, and verify tolerances with calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on CNC experience
• Set-up and operate mills and/or lathes
• Ability to read blueprint, and understand GD&T
• Fanuc and Haas control panels knowledge
• Setup fixturing and tooling (including machine offsets)
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometer, depth micrometer, bore micrometer, and height gauges, etc.

Responsibilities

• As a CNC machinist you will be working with a variety of precision machines predominantly in a milling capacity.
• Follow blueprint specifications and adjust G and M code as needed to maintain tight tolerances.
