Job summary

HBK is seeking a skilled machinist to operate CNC lathes and milling centers, ensuring parts meet blueprint specifications. The role emphasizes precision inspection, tool maintenance, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualified candidates will have 2–4 years in metal finishing, familiarity with Haas/Mazak/Daewoo, and ability to work both independently and in a team. Strong writing and communication skills are valued.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of metal hand finishing or deburring experience.
• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience/training.
• Experience with Haas, Mazak and Daewoo preferred.
• Machinist able to apply concepts, practices, and processes in a machine shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and CNC milling centers.
• Evaluate parts against blueprints for dimensions and tolerances.
• Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Inspect workpieces with gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Sharpen tools with a bench grinder.
• Perform daily maintenance and keep a clean, safe workspace.
