Job summary

Candidates should read blueprints, perform tool changes, measure parts, keep logs, and work with Mazak Star/Integrex or Swiss lathes experience; a high school diploma is required and 2+ years with production machinery is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience with production machinery.
• Experience with Mazak Star/Integrex or Swiss Lathes is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T and perform measurements.
• Committed to safety, quality, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, specifications, and drawings.
• Set up machines including tool changes, offsets and switches.
• Maintain equipment via preventive maintenance per instructions.
• Verify settings by measuring first runs and sample parts.
• Record production and quality data in logs.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and adjust controls as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
• Communicate status of work orders and irregularities.
• Seek opportunities to add value in the work area.
