Job summary

Nordson Polymer Processing Systems is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our production team. You will safely machine die parts to meet blueprints and order specs with quality, right the first time.

The role requires interpreting toolings, setting up machines, and monitoring operations. Strong communication and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years CNC machining experience preferred.
• Associate's degree in Machine Tooling preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; able to read blueprints and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and data to determine tooling, setup, and machining methods.
• Select and secure fixtures, tools, attachments, and materials on machines.
• Enter commands to operate machines and adjust controls as required.
• Position spindle and regulate cutting depth, speed, feed, and coolant flow.
• Monitor machine operation, detect malfunctions, and stop to change tools as needed.
• Document conformance to blueprint specs and adjust settings for tolerances.
