Job summary

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate, set up, and maintain CNC machines in Watertown, SD. You will read blueprints, select tools, and ensure parts meet specifications through precise measurements.

Duties include adjusting feeds and speeds, monitoring tooling, performing quality checks with calipers and micrometers, and collaborating with engineering and production teams. A high school diploma and 2+ years of CNC experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining or manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines including mills, lathes, and saws.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job instructions.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling as necessary.
• Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete production records and follow quality assurance procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure product standards are met.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
