Wilo USA is expanding at its Cedarburg facility and seeks skilled CNC Machinists/Operators to operate, set up, and program lathes and horizontal and vertical machining centers. Join a growing team at our new plant in Cedarburg, with 1st and 2nd shift opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned CNC work center to meet production and quality standards.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and follow verbal instructions.
• Learn inspection equipment such as micrometers and calipers as required.
• Use knowledge of tools and equipment to perform duties.
• Verify and document part dimensions and tolerances for quality.
• Visually inspect parts for surface finish and details with attention to detail.
• Perform general shop math and work safely with team.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly; perform upkeep and maintenance.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Job Summary

CNC Machinists/Operator will operate, set up the CNC, lathes and horizontal and vertical machining.

Primary Job Duties:

• Operate assigned work center to current production and quality standards.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and work from verbal instructions.
• Learn applicable inspection / measurement equipment: micrometers, calipers etc. as required.
• Knowledge of various tools and equipment.
• Responsible for verification and documentation of part dimensions and tolerances as required for quality.
• Visually inspect parts for surface details and machining finishes with a close attention to detail.
• Knowledge of general shop math.
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Perform general upkeep and preventative maintenance on assign work center.
• Work safely and adhere to company policies and procedures.
