Candidates should have 2 years of experience, be detail-oriented, willing to train others, and capable of performing in-process inspections. This temp-to-hire position offers first and second shift options and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in CNC machining.
• Ability to read blueprints and job orders with tolerances.
• Experience with hard turning and close tolerances ±0.0001.
• Ability to perform in-process inspections and maintain QA.
• Understand GD&T principles.
• Temp-to-hire position, shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce metallic and nonmetallic parts.
• Inspect machined parts to ensure conformance to print specifications.
• Read blueprints and job orders for specifications.

Superior Staffing in Addison IL, is seeking for a CNC Machinist Operator for one of our clients located in Hanover Park and Bartlett Illinois.

Qualifications

Candidate must have 2 years of experience, puts quality first, demonstrates attention to detail, is willing to learn and train others, and is experienced in close-tolerance machining. Operates CNC machine equipment to machine metallic and nonmetallic workpieces, inspect parts to ensure compliance to print specifications by performing the following duties:

• Read blueprint and job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances.
• Observe operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.
• Operates machines and equipment other than machine tools.
• Complete in process inspection sheets.
• Demonstrate attention to detail.
• This position will NOT supervise anyone.
• Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
• Able to read and interpret prints.
• Firm understanding of GDT.
• Experience with hard turn machining and close tolerances +.0001.
• Temp to Hire
• Interview is a MUST
• Pay Rate- $25.00 to $40.00 Depending on Experience
• 1st. shift and 2nd. shift Available.
