Job summary

ReadyLIFT is seeking a dependable CNC Machinist to operate CNC mills and/or lathes in our Ogden, UT facility. The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and quality as you monitor performance and inspect finished parts to spec.

Responsibilities include tool changes, offsets, program restarts, and reading blueprints. Swing shift is available for extra pay, with a focus on producing precise components for suspension systems.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC machining or CNC production experience.
• Ability to operate CNC mills and/or CNC lathes.
• Working knowledge of G-code and M-code.
• Ability to change, touch off, and adjust CNC tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Ability to use measuring and inspection equipment to verify part dimensions.
• Basic math skills applicable to machining and dimensional inspection.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CNC equipment following all safety procedures and regulations.
• Work under the direction of the Shift Lead operating up to two CNC mills or lathes.
• Meet production and quality goals while maintaining standards.
• Monitor tools for wear and replace tooling as necessary.
• Change tooling and perform program restarts.
• Read blueprints and verify dimensions against specs.
