Job summary

Trace-A-Matic in Brookfield, Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate multiple machines, read prints, apply GD&T, and document inspections. You will tweak offsets to maintain tight tolerances and support setup learning with seasoned operators.

The 2nd shift (3:00 pm–1:30 am) offers a climate-controlled environment, weekly pay, safety-focused culture, and opportunities to grow with merit increases and growth programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CNC-related diploma preferred.
• 2+ years machining experience.
• Comfort with precision gauges and hand metrology.
• Strong math and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and tweak offsets to hold tight tolerances.
• Repeat high-volume tasks with excellent consistency and quality.
• Read prints, apply GD&T, and document inspections accurately.
• Support and learn setups alongside seasoned machinists.
• Leverage core machining know-how and controller functions to keep production moving.
• Run multiple machines within a cell for maximum output.
• Share knowledge—coach operators on repeatable processes.
• Pitch in with other duties to help the team win.
