Job summary

Trace-A-Matic in Brookfield, Wisconsin, is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to set up, operate and program CNC machines for complex, precision-machined components. The role emphasizes reading blueprints, GD&T and inspection to ensure high-quality parts.

Qualifications

5+ years of machining experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Working knowledge of GD&T.
Ability to inspect parts and verify conformance to print specifications.
Experience setting up, operating and programming CNC machines.
Ability to support multiple machines within a production cell.

Responsibilities

Set up repeat jobs that are fully documented and adhere to procedures.
Run first-piece parts to meet print specifications and validate setup accuracy.
Program CNC machines and edit programs to optimize performance and part quality.
Conduct manual inspections using inspection sheets and criteria.
Read blueprints at a medium to high level and apply GD&T standards.
Operate multiple machines within a production cell to maximize efficiency.
Mentor and train operators to promote skill development.
