Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist in Belmont, NC. The candidate will program and operate 3–5 axis Mazak/Okuma machines, set up and run parts, and ensure repeatable processes with accurate inspection.

Required are 3+ years in vertical/horizontal mills, blueprint interpretation, and micrometer reading. A 4-day, first-shift schedule is offered with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience running Vertical/Horizontal Mills.
• Ability to read blueprints and customer specifications.
• Proficient with micrometers and inspection tools.
• Capable of programming and operating 3–5 axis Mazak or Okuma machines.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate 3-5 axis Mazak and/or Okuma multi-axis machines.
• Set up CNC machines and ensure accurate machining.
• Document new programs and processes for repeatability.
• Interpret blueprints and inspect parts to tolerances.
