Job summary

rms Company, a Cretex Medical company, is seeking a skilled CNC operator for milling machines in a climate-controlled facility in Minnesota. You will read blueprints and GD&T drawings, maintain precise documentation, and collaborate to meet production goals.

The role requires experience with Milling CNC machines and accurate measurement using micrometers and calipers. Training and growth opportunities are available within the Cretex network.

Qualifications

• Operator experience with Milling CNC machines.
• Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using a microscope.
• Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic machining or quality issues. Complete preventative maintenance to support safe and consistent machine performance.
• Perform visual inspections using microscopes as required. Use micrometers, calipers, and pressure micrometers for measurements.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and GD&T. Perform tool changes and adjustments to maintain part quality.
• Partner with team members to meet production and quality goals.

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 am - 4:00 pm
• 2nd Shift Hours- 3:30 pm - 3:30 am

Sign-On Bonus Available: $1,000-$5,000 dependent on level of experience!

Cretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.

Pay Range USD $21.20 - USD $40.67 /Hr.

Pay Range DetailsThis pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
