Job summary

DRT Holdings, LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our Sidney, OH shop. You will set up and operate CNC Milling machines, HMCs and VMCs, read blueprints and GD&T, and produce aerospace components to strict tolerances.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in precision manufacturing, familiarity with tooling and measurement tools, and a focus on quality. This full-time role offers overtime, benefits, and a 401(k) plan in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC machining experience in a precision environment.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC Milling, HMCs and VMCs.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T to specification.
• Experience with tooling selection, fixture setup and precision measurement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Milling Machines, HMCs, and VMCs
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, work offsets, and first-piece inspections
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
• Manufacture precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
• Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators
• Make tooling and program adjustments to maintain quality
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions
• Monitor tooling performance and identify process improvements
• Accurately complete production, inspection, and quality documentation
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to meet customer expectations and delivery schedules
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
