VAUPELL NORTHEAST in Agawam, MA is seeking a CNC Machinist - Milling for 2nd shift (3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.) to produce precision parts.
Load, operate and maintain CNC lathes, milling machines and bridgeports; verify settings by measuring parts and maintain quality records.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years’ experience; basic math; ability to read and follow English; must wear PPE; US Person. Able to stand for long periods and lift light weights.

We are currently looking for a CNC Machinist - Millingfor 2nd Shift 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at our Agawam, MA facility.

Produce small to medium-size precision machined parts by operating computer numerical control (CNC) lathes, milling machines and bridgeports.
Candidates must be a “US Person” (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to ensure Vaupell’s compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations. This position requires the ability to stand and walk for the majority of the workday; lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to or over 50 pounds occasionally; push, pull, bend at the waist, reach above and below shoulder level, grasp, handle, and use finger dexterity as needed to perform machining and inspection duties. The role also requires eye-hand coordination, near and far vision acuity, depth and color perception, ordinary hearing, keyboarding, and the ability to occasionally sit, climb stairs or ladders, balance, kneel, crawl, turn, or twist.
