Position Details:

2nd Shift 3:00pm-11:30pm Mon-Fri plus 12% Differential

Your Expertise:

• 3-5 years of experience machining in an aerospace environment
• Three (3) or more years of experience setting up and operating CNC Devlieg Milling Machines
• Familiar with Fanuc controls; willing to cross-train on various operations/equipment
• Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of GD&T
• Familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Willing to learn basic CNC Programming

Your Challenge:

• Perform complex setups, edits, and operate established and NPI jobs with minimal supervision, ensuring parts conform to specifications and requirements. Make modifications or adjustments as necessary.
• Verify dimensions using standard measuring instruments such as micrometers, depth gauges, height gauges, and vernier calipers.
• Read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets.
• Collaborate with the engineering department regarding material conditions, part positioning, tool pressure, etc.
• Detect faulty operations and materials, and report issues to the supervisor.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
