Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of reading blueprints, drawings and customer specifications.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a CNC Mills Machinist.
• Knowledge of proper cutting tools used in various metals (Aluminum, Inconel, Titanium, Phenolic).
• Preferably multi-access machine experience and lathe operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, or tends milling machines or lathes to mill, shape, groove, turns or profile metal work pieces.
• Reads blueprints and diagrams to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Performs quality control and inspection using gauges, calipers, microscopes and micrometers.
• Edits and sets up CNC Mills machines and Lathes; trains lower grade employees.
• Maintains clean and orderly work areas and follows safety rules.
