Qualifications

• 1–2 years total machining experience or completion of an accredited machining program.
• Hands-on lathe/mill experience with tooling & shop practices.
• Ability to measure and hold ±0.001" with standard gauges.

Responsibilities

• Manual machining from print to part on lathes and mills; basic setups.
• Select tooling and set speeds/feeds; change inserts and touch off tools.
• Read blueprints and basic GD&T; hold ±0.001" tolerances.
• Inspect work with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators; in-process checks.
• Learn Fusion 360/Mastercam and make minor G/M edits with guidance.
• Collaborate with senior machinists and engineering; maintain safety.
