Job summary

Elevate Human Capital is seeking a CNC Machinist Level 4 for a client in the Houston area. The position supports producing high-quality, precise parts on CNC machines and requires strong setup and inspection capabilities.

Day shift runs 6:00am–6:00pm, Monday through Saturday, with potential to work seven days if needed. Candidates should have at least three years of CNC machining experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass proficiency assessments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of industry experience as a CNC Machinist.
  • High school diploma, GED, trade school certification, or equivalent reading and writing skills.
  • Proficiency assessments and training completed.

Responsibilities

  • Set up CNC machines completely and correctly in all aspects of operation.
  • Set up and thread premium threads on a variety of product and material types with minimal supervision.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make program edits with minimal supervision.
  • Assist supervisors and leads in training Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 CNC Machinists.
  • Perform dimensional inspections of parts according to required specifications.
  • Maintain product traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Meet or exceed KPIs and related quality/non-conformance requirements.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
  • Report non-conformances and quality concerns to supervisor or lead.
  • Follow workplace safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EHC is seeking CNC Machinists - Level 4 for a client in the Houston Area
Day Shift 6:00am-6:00pm Monday through Saturday (must be able to work 7 days if needed)
Pay Rate $20.00-$26.00
Primary Function

As a CNC Machinist, you will safely and efficiently produce high-quality, error-free parts to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and product quality.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up CNC machines completely and correctly in all aspects of operation.
  • Set up and thread premium threads on a variety of product and material types with minimal supervision.
  • Effectively troubleshoot machining issues and make program edits with minimal supervision.
  • Assist supervisors and leads in training Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 CNC Machinists.

  • Maintain product traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Meet or exceed all key performance indicators (KPIs) and related quality and non-conformance requirements.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
  • Report non-conformances and quality concerns to the supervisor or lead.
  • Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Utilize applicable inspection, measuring, and test equipment as specified in work instructions and quality procedures.
Qualifications
Education
  • High school diploma, GED, trade school certification, or equivalent reading and writing skills.
Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of industry experience as a CNC Machinist.
Proficiency
  • Successful completion of required proficiency assessments and training.
Capability
  • Ability to demonstrate competency and perform all essential job duties within 90 days of hire.
Training Requirements
  • Workplace safety training.
  • Required reading for quality and management system familiarization.
  • Quality system orientation and training.
  • Formal training on work instructions, procedures, and applicable industry standards as outlined in the training matrix.
