Job summary

TeDan Surgical Innovations, Inc. in Half Moon Bay, CA, seeks motivated Machinists (Level 1–3) to join our manufacturing team. You will operate CNC machinery to produce precision components and read engineering drawings to ensure tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include in-process inspections, deburring, polishing, documenting production steps, and supporting tooling development for higher levels. Level 3 may create CNC programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred for higher levels.
• Level 1 requires 0–1 year of machining/manufacturing experience; Level 2 requires 2+ years; Level 3 requires 5+ years.
• Knowledge of G-code/M-code is required for Levels 2 and 3.
• CAM software experience is required for Level 3.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Physical: ability to stand for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds.
• In-person work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines to produce precision components.
• Use measuring tools to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
• Read and interpret engineering prints and technical drawings.
• Perform in-process inspections and maintain quality standards.
• Deburr and polish machined parts.
• Complete production documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; perform equipment maintenance.
• Assist with tooling and fixture development (Levels 2 and 3).
• Create and manage CNC programs (Level 3).
