Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred with at least 6 years of related machining experience.
• Proficient with manual and/or CNC machines – capable of setting up machines with a general knowledge of speeds and feeds for lathes and mills.
• Proficient in geometric dimensions and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs. with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathe, mill, and understand different styles and types of taps and dies (metric and standard).
• Operate various hand tools, grinders, drills, belt sanders, disc sanders, and sand/ bead blast equipment.
• Operate power band saw and cut off saw with proper speeds, feeds, and blade selection.
• Verify work meets blueprints, standards, and work instructions.
