Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Machinist for the Delavan, WI site on 1st shift. You will set up and run CNC lathes or mills to produce castings, using precision measuring tools and GD&T reading. The ideal candidate has CNC Mill/Lathe setup experience and can read drawings while maintaining tooling and coolant levels.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC Mill and Lathe setup and operation experience.
• GD&T and print comprehension and shop math.
• Ability to multi-task to keep production running.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, twist, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set-up machines where procedures are standardized and obvious.
• Utilize CNC equipment, manual machines, precision measuring equipment and tools.
• Read part drawings using GD&T.
• Use precision gauges to check dimensions.
• Maintain coolant levels and perform autonomous maintenance.
• Face, turn, bore, chamfer, groove, thread, drill, tap and deburr parts.
