Job summary

LeoForce in Anaheim, CA is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist skilled in lathe work to manufacture precision parts from complex blueprints.

This 2nd shift position runs 3 PM to 1:30 PM with weekends off, offering competitive hourly pay, full benefits, and opportunities to mentor others.

You will operate 2- to 5-axis machines, interpret ISO drawings, calibrate equipment, and contribute to continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience including mill and lathe operations.
• Experience in machine programming in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in 2-3-4- and/or 5 axis machining.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail ensuring high-quality parts.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Experience calibrating equipment to meet production specs.
• Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Job Details

This is a 2nd Shift Opportunity - 3PM to 130PM (Weekends OFF)

Responsibilities:

• 1. Operating CNC machines, including mill and lathe operations, to manufacture parts according to specifications.
• 2. Reading and interpreting complex blueprints, drawings and other specifications to ensure accurate production.
• 3. Utilizing your expertise in 2-3-4- 5 AXIS machining to enhance our production capabilities.
• 4. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with CNC machines and other equipment, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity.
• 5. Collaborating with our team to develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency and quality.
• 6. Calibrating equipment to ensure it meets production requirements and maintains the highest level of accuracy.
• 7. Training and mentoring less experienced team members, sharing your knowledge and skills to enhance their professional development.
• 8. Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• 1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in CNC machining, including mill and lathe operation.
• 2. Proven experience in machine programming, particularly in a manufacturing environment.

• 4. Exceptional troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
