Position: Machinist III

Location: Vancouver, WA

Pay: Competitive – Based on Experience

Schedule: Full-time; Swing Shift

What You’ll Do
  • Operate and program complex 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines.
  • Work independently on high-tolerance parts, optimize machining processes, and mentor junior machinists.
  • Perform advanced machining operations with minimal supervision.
  • Inspect first-run and finished parts for accuracy and quality.
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
  • Train and assist Machinist I and II team members.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Apply knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards.
  • Maintain equipment and shop cleanliness.
  • Support related departments as needed (deburring, assembly, shipping, etc.).

What You Need to Have

The Musts:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
  • Expertise with G & M codes and multi-axis CNC machines.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and ASME Y14.5.
  • Skilled in using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).

Preferred:

  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D.
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Basic computer skills.
