Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III to lead advanced machining operations at our Buffalo facility. You will mentor others, troubleshoot high-precision jobs, and drive continuous improvement across part families using HMC, mill-turn, and grinder equipment.

You will champion safety, quality and SOP standards while partnering with engineers to resolve complex issues and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of CNC machining experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and CNC programming basics.
• Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting, setups, and precision adjustments.
• Strong communication skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot HMC, mill-turn, grinder, and balancer machines across various part families.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in safety, quality, and SOP compliance.
• Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex machining or process issues.
• Champion 6S workplace practices and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

• Salary Range: $28.85 - $47.60

Your role

CNC Machinist III are highly skilled professionals responsible for advanced machining operations, mentoring others, and contributing to technical problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires leadership, deep technical expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence.

• Expertly operate and troubleshoot HMC, mill-turn, grinder, and balancer machines across various part families.
