Job summary

Tecomet, a global leader in precision manufacturing, is seeking a CNC Machinist III for Swiss lathes on 2nd shift. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss CNC equipment to produce orthopedic, medical device, and aerospace components.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, applying program and tool offsets, performing in-process inspections, and maintaining documentation to meet stringent quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating Swiss CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Strong attention to detail and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss CNC lathes to produce tight-tolerance parts.
• Read blueprints, apply program and tool offsets, and document results.
• Perform in-process inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure defect-free output.
• Support continuous improvement and uphold 5S and safety in a regulated environment.
