Job summary

CHL Systems in Souderton, PA, seeks an experienced CNC Machinist II to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role requires independently setting up and operating CNC and conventional machines to produce precision components for custom-built equipment.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of CNC experience, understands tooling, offsets, GD&T, and is detail-oriented with a commitment to quality. You will read drawings, edit simple CNC programs, perform first-piece inspections, and collaborate

Qualifications

Requires HS diploma or GED with CNC experience.
2–4 years in CNC machining with independent setups.
Ability to read GD&T and engineering drawings.
Experience editing CNC programs and tool offsets.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC and conventional equipment to manufacture precision components.
Select tools, establish offsets, and prepare machines for production.
Read blueprints and GD&T, verify dimensions with precision instruments.
Review and edit CNC programs; perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
Troubleshoot issues; collaborate with Engineering/Manufacturing/Quality.
Maintain production and inspection documentation.
Assist training of less experienced machinists.
