ATC Drivetrain LLC in Oklahoma City is seeking a Production CNC Machinist II to set up and operate conventional, special-purpose, and CNC machines to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts. You will read blueprints, select tools, adjust machine controls, and verify dimensions while collaborating with engineers to resolve issues and ensure quality.

Requirements include an Associate degree or equivalent, basic math, and the ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment with adherence to ISO

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year college/technical school or six months to one year related experience or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications and interpret technical documents.
• Basic mathematical skills including geometry and trigonometry for tolerances and measurements.

Responsabilités

• Study blueprints, drawings, or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances and setup requirements.
• Measure and mark dimensions on material for machining and setup.
• Select and secure fixtures, tools, and attachments on machines (mills, lathes, grinders).
• Set controls for speed, feed, coolant and depth of cut; input or edit program data.
• Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust as needed.
• Verify finished workpiece conformance to specifications.
• Set up machine for trial runs to verify accuracy of settings.
• Assemble parts into complete assemblies and verify alignment.
