Job summary

Marquee Staffing in Oceanside, CA is seeking a CNC Machinist II to set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision metal components. You will read blueprints, select tooling, adjust speeds and feeds, and inspect parts for quality.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of CNC experience; familiarity with GD&T and AS9100 is a plus. Day shift with pay range $26.00–$32.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years CNC machine operator experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T and AS9100 aerospace quality standards.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC multi-axis mills and/or lathes to produce precision metal components.
• Load and execute new or established jobs using CNC machine controls.
• Select appropriate cutting tools and perform basic non-CAD/CAM programming.
• Operate manual machine equipment when necessary.
• Enter machine commands to activate equipment, align indexing tables, and position spindles.
• Monitor operation, gauges and displays to identify malfunctions or process issues.
• Maintain tooling and equipment for consistent production.
• Troubleshoot machining issues with teammates to resolve problems.
• Remove completed parts and measure to verify conformance with specifications.
• Inspect machined components using appropriate measuring instruments and methods.
• Make adjustments to speeds/feeds to maintain quality.
• Keep equipment clean and replace worn tooling as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
