Qualifications

• Must read engineering blueprints and planning.
• Positive attitude, strong multitasking, and willingness to learn new skills.
• Organized, works well with others, and is flexible.
• Knowledge of tooling speeds and feeds offsets and minor program changes.
• Ability to prove out programs and setup two CNC Lathes (Okuma).

Responsibilities

• Performs simple setups and operates CNC lathes and related machines to produce parts per instructions.
• Maintains and performs minor routine maintenance on machines used.
• Evaluates parts by measuring with appropriate instruments and may perform simple testing to ensure conformance.
• Documents information per work instructions and reports discrepancies to supervisor/engineer.
• Maintains a safe work environment and adheres to PPE protocols.
• Supports area organization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adheres to company policies and promotes a positive work culture.
