Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 years CNC Lathe experience.
• Completion of a 2 year technical/trade school in machining (preferred).
• Able to read engineering blueprints and planning.
• Experience with CNC lathes, especially Okuma.

Responsibilities

• Performs simple setups and operates machines to produce parts per drawings, blueprints, or instructions.
• Maintains and performs minor routine maintenance on machines used.
• Evaluates parts or material by measuring with appropriate instruments and may perform simple testing for conformance.
• Documents information per work instruction and reports discrepancies to supervisor/engineer.
• Maintains a safe work environment and uses PPE as required.
• Supports area organization and promotes continuous improvement.
• Adheres to company policies and promotes a healthy work culture.
