Ultimate Staffing in Haverhill, MA is seeking a CNC Machinist II (Horizontal) to independently set up and operate horizontal machining centers, machining complex components to tight tolerances and ensuring quality.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, direct hire with pay ranging from $26 to $33 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2-10 years of CNC machining experience.
• Ability to independently perform machine setups.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and inspection equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate CNC horizontal machining centers.
• Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing instructions.
• Adjust offsets, feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters.
• Perform fixture setup and changeovers.
• Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot common machining and tooling issues.
• Machine components to moderate and tight tolerances.
• Support process improvement initiatives.
