Job summary

Micro-Tronics, Inc. (MTI) in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a CNC Machinist II to safely set up and operate CNC Lathes and Mills to manufacture precision aerospace components.

Strong blueprint reading, GD&T interpretation, and advanced inspection skills are required. You will troubleshoot processes, maintain quality, and contribute to continuous improvement. Work hours are 6:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school, vocational training, or completion of a four-year apprenticeship with one year of related work experience may be considered in lieu of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of CNC setup and operation experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of precision machining experience.
• Experience machining aerospace or precision components preferred.
• Experience operating multi-axis CNC equipment.
• Experience with live tooling; sub-spindle experience preferred.
• Experience using Fanuc controls required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathes and Mills with minimal supervision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Troubleshoot machining processes and adjust tooling or programs as needed.
• Deburr, clean, and package finished parts to ensure quality and prevent handling damage.
