Job summary

Micro Precision is seeking a CNC Machinist II to join the 2nd shift in our Machining Department. You will assist fellow machinists with setups and programming, operate Mazak mills and lathes, and ensure parts meet our stringent quality standards.

Qualifications

• Formal CNC training or relevant experience operating CNC machine tools.
• Experience operating CNC machine tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and in groups to resolve issues.
• Positive attitude with a team mentality.

Responsibilities

• Assist fellow machinists with setups and programming.
• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Program CNC mills and lathes for various operations.
• Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Document actions in production and quality logs.
• Report nightly production status to the Manufacturing manager.
• Maintain a clean work environment; suggest tooling or strategies to improve productivity.
