Machinist Functions:
- Sets up, programs, and operates machinery and equipment as directed.
- Completes customer product requirements as specified in work orders.
- Determines appropriate tooling/gages for part production and inspection.
- Performs in-process inspections to ensure 100% quality product.
- Identifies discrepancies in setup and run times and resolves them with the supervisor.
- Manages documentation and data control of programs, tool lists, and related data in job packets/travelers.
- Performs cleaning and general maintenance on equipment as scheduled or needed.
- Maintains a clean, organized work area following company policies and procedures.
- Stops production if a part or process issue is found and notifies supervisor or Quality personnel.
- Initiates nonconforming product procedures when necessary.
Programmer Functions:
- Prepares programs for EIA machines.
- Maintains organized files with relevant part information.
- Collaborates with production and engineering to develop effective work holding methods.
- Edits programs on the production floor using machine-specific programming methods.
- Prepares and processes drawings to assist manufacturing.
- Controls program and drawing revisions.
- Prepares overlays for inspection.
- Communicates with production to ensure programming accuracy.
- Ensures continuous, productive operation of the Integrex according to customer schedules.
- Assists in developing setups and workflows to maximize second shift uptime on the Integrex.
- Programs for other 3, 4, and 5-axis machines.
- Supports colleagues with technical questions and issues.
Shared Functions:
- Creates, revises, or finalizes Work Instructions.
- Stops production if a part or process problem is identified and informs management or Quality.
- Mentors and trains other personnel as assigned.
- Identifies and eliminates waste.
- Participates in corrective and preventative activities.
- Accurately records production time, quantities, and shift clock times in M2M/Shop Floor Manager for payroll; reviews Daily Labor Reports for accuracy.
- Remains productive by seeking tasks and assisting others during slow periods.
- Communicates openly and collaborates with other departments as needed.
- Supports the company's Quality System and adheres to Environmental, Health, and Safety policies.
- Engages in continuous improvement and related training.
- Follows all applicable Quality Policies, Work Instructions, and Procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- At least 3 years of aerospace CNC machining and programming experience preferred, or a combination of education and related aerospace experience (minimum 1 year) demonstrating full knowledge of practices, procedures, capabilities, and machinery.
- Proficient in Mastercam v.10.
- Advanced computer skills, including CAD/CAM proficiency.
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of inspection techniques and GD&T.
- Ability to perform part inspection with appropriate equipment.
- Understanding of raw materials and their properties.
- Full knowledge of Quality Systems.
