Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience operating CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines.
• Intermediate knowledge and use of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges).
• Familiarity with CNC tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures and accessories.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates CNC mills and lathes to production specifications.
• Adjusts machines and controls to ensure quality of work.
• Communicates with supervisor and manufacturing teams for assignments and quality issues.
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Performs basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Studies drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Participates in 5S daily within the work area.
• Other duties as required.
