Job summary

Tecomet, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist I to produce machined parts by operating CNC machines on the 1st shift. The role emphasizes quality and safety, adherence to GMP/GDP practices, and maintaining records and equipment.

You will work to meet OOQ standards, read engineering drawings, and collaborate in a continuous improvement driven environment. Responsibilities include tool changes, minor offsets, routine PM, inspection reporting, and timely data entry in the job tracking

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a production environment preferred (E/D).
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and drawings.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets for tooling wear.
• Ensure product quality by following OOQ standards and using inspection reports.
• Perform routine maintenance per daily machine checklist and adhere to PM schedule.
• Perform hand finishing and record activities in the job tracking system.
• Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities.
