Job summary

Air Squared Manufacturing, LLC in Thornton, Colorado is seeking a CNC Machinist I to set up and run CNC mills and lathes. The role requires reading drawings, making program adjustments, and ensuring quality through inspection tools. Several shifts are available with shift Differentals and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating and setting-up CNC mills and/or lathes utilizing conversational programming.
• Must submit resume to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Make program adjustments as needed.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machine set-up and production methods.
• Use inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers and various gauging.
• Verify conformance of finished first article to specifications, making necessary adjustments and conducting subsequent inspection of work pieces to keep output at desired quality level.
• Complete essential documentation as required.
• Perform and document preventative maintenance as needed.
• Deburr metal parts after they have been machined.
• Assist in shipping preparation, such as packaging, shipping and receiving as needed.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Air Squared Manufacturing, Inc. is an OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell and power generation industries. We are looking for CNC Machinists I (Multiple Shifts Available) who would be responsible for setting up and running Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, as well as being responsible for making changes/edits to the program as needed.

Pay Range: $26 - $34/hour, based on experience and qualifications

1st Shift runs Monday thru Thursday 5:30am - 4:00pm

2nd Shift runs Monday thru Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am and pays a $1/hour shift differential

3rd Shift runs Friday thru Sunday 7:00am - 7:30pm and pays a 12% shift differential

4th Shift runs Friday thru Sunday 7:00pm - 7:30am and pays a 15% shift differential
