Job summary

McWane Plant & Industrial in Alabama is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate lathes, VTLs and mills. You will set up, machine, and inspect parts to tight tolerances, and ensure production items flow smoothly while meeting quality standards.

Work closely with the quality department and project coordinators; participate in process improvements, read blueprints, edit G-code, and maintain tools and equipment. 1st shift; strong safety culture; competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CNC Machinist role.
• Enrolled in or participating in a CNC Machining program.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Associates or higher in a technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, machine and check products to ensure quality and productivity.
• Read blueprints and use precision measuring devices to verify specs.
• Modify basic G-code and operate CNC equipment and manual machines.
• Maintain shop equipment and ensure proper documentation and safety.
