McWane Plant & Industrial, LLC in Exeter, CA, is seeking an experienced Machinist III to operate CNC mills, lathes, and conventional tooling. You will read blueprints, set up machines, and produce precision components to exact specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on machining, strong problem solving, and the ability to work independently or in teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience operating Maezak, CNC, and conventional machining equipment.
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Advanced CNC programming and multi-axis machining proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and specifications with precision.
• Expertise in precision measurement techniques and quality control standards.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance knowledge.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and digital machining systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain CNC mills, lathes, and conventional machining equipment to produce precision components according to specifications.
• Read, interpret, and analyze technical blueprints and work orders to determine machining requirements and tolerances.
• Perform precision machining on various materials to meet exact specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and DMIs.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of machine tools for optimal performance.
• Optimize machining processes and tool selection to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintain detailed production records and logs for traceability and QA.
• Collaborate with engineering, production planning, and QA teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
