Job summary

A-dec is seeking a Machinist I to operate manual mills, lathes, and CNC centers in a production setting in the United States. You will set up, run, and troubleshoot machinery, ensuring parts meet blueprint specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts with precision tools, maintaining TPM through routine maintenance, and coaching operators. Strong attention to safety and teamwork is required in a multi-shift environment.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes and communicates in English; follows instructions and troubleshoots problems.
• Interprets blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions; some GD&T knowledge.
• Understanding Lean Manufacturing and ISO procedures; moderate computer skills; ERP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, Swiss) with supervision.
• Produce and inspect parts to blueprints using precision tools; suggest improvements.
• Complete required documentation; read work orders for varying quantities.
