Rod and Tubing Services LLC is seeking a CNC Machinist in Midland, TX to set up and operate CNC lathe equipment for threading API 8rd tubulars. The role requires reading blueprints, using calipers and micrometers, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of CNC Lathe experience, are meticulous, and can work well in a team. This full-time position offers regular daytime hours with potential overtime as needed.

Competenze

• 2+ years of experience in set-up and operation of CNC Lathe for threading API 8rd tubulars.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficient with calipers and micrometers for precision measurements.

Summary/Objective

CNC machinists works with computer numeric controlled (CNC ) heavy machinery from setup to operation to produce parts and tools from metal, plastic or other materials. Computer numeric controlled equipment is precision machinery that cuts, grinds, or drills into the material. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

• All personal protective equipment (PPE) must be inspected by the employee and worn upon direction of supervisors, managers, and the safety manager. Participate in mandatory safety or PPE training and notify their supervisor when new PPE is necessary.

• Ability to use and interpret measurements of calipers and micrometers.

Position Type/Work Schedule

• This is a full-time position, and the days of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional weekends and/or holidays may be scheduled. Employee may be scheduled to work overtime and be available for emergency overtime when the need arises.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in set-up and operation of CNC Lathe primarily for the threading of API 8rd tubulars.
