Job summary

ArtiFlex Manufacturing in Michigan seeks skilled CNC Machinists to join our on-floor team. You will program at the machine using SMIRT, set up large vertical and 5-axis CNC mills, and work in a low-volume, high-mix environment that values precision and problem-solving.

We operate in Warren and Fraser, MI, and offer a full-time role with competitive benefits. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, read blueprints with GD&T, and demonstrate strong measurement and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience with large vertical CNC mills.
• Experience operating or programming multi-axis CNC machines.
• Reading blueprints, understanding GD&T, and interpreting engineering documentation.
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Attention to detail, strong math skills, and solid mechanical aptitude.
• Clear communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform essential functions safely.

Responsibilities

• Program directly at the machine using SMIRT.
• Set up and operate large Vertical, and 5-AXIS CNC Mills.
• Operate machines: CNC, YCM, Okuma, Taurus & 5 Axis.
• Prove out programs with NC programmers and troubleshoot on the fly.
• Machine precision components to tight tolerances using a variety of materials.
• Perform drilling, milling, and tapping operations.
• Use precision measurement tools to inspect your work.
• Collaborate with designers and team members to improve processes and results.
• Document operations and results for quality tracking.

Job description

Join a team where precision meets purpose. We are a leading tool & die manufacturer in Warren and Fraser, specializing in large Class-A stamping dies. We are currently looking for talentedCNC Machinistswho bring experience, pride in their work, and a problem-solving mindset to join ourteam.

Machinists will performon-floor programming,tackling complex builds, and working with state-of-the-art CNC machines in a low-volume, high-mix environment.

This position supports our Metal Stamping Tool & Die Shops in Warren and Fraser Michigan.

This will be a day shift position. Final shift is determined in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

What you will be responsible for:

• Program directly at the machineusing SMIRT
• Set up and operatelarge Vertical, and 5-AXIS CNC Mills
• Types of machines you could operate: CNC, YCM, Okuma, Taurus & 5 Axis
• Prove out programs with NC programmers and troubleshoot on the fly

• Experience operating or programming Multi-AccessCNC machines, preferred

• Attention to detail, strong math skills, and solid mechanical aptitude
• Clear communication skills and a team-first attitude
