Job summary

Snap-on in Milwaukee is seeking a mechanically inclined CNC or manual machinist for 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:00pm) or 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:00am). The ideal candidate will set up, run and troubleshoot machines, perform in-process inspections, and work with blueprints and specifications.

The position offers competitive hourly pay of $28.95. You will train and assist other cell operators, submit required data and documentation, and help the team meet productivity goals while maintaining safe operating

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in machining.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, repair and operate all machinery in the cell.
• Assist and train other cell operators.
• Submit required data/documentation accurately.
• Meet and maintain department productivity goals.
• Follow safe operating procedures and housekeeping practices.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure print specs.
• Make minor edits to CNC programs.
