Job summary

ThermAvant Technologies, L.L.C. seeks a full-time CNC Machinist to operate Haas vertical machining centers and produce high quality precision parts for diverse applications.

You will collaborate with engineers and manufacturing personnel to ensure designs meet specifications, inspect work thoroughly, document production activity, troubleshoot processes, and contribute to Kaizen cost-saving initiatives while keeping an organized, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Background check required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel).
• Ability to measure parts with micrometers/calipers.
• Basic shop math skills and unit conversions.
• Knowledge of G-code for proofing programs.
• Willingness to learn, adapt quickly and be cross trained.
• Hands-on aptitude for mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate Haas vertical machining centers to produce high quality precision parts.
• Interact with engineers and manufacturing staff to meet design and quality requirements.
• Inspect work, complete paperwork to account for production and quality activity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process issues.
• Develop cost saving measures through Kaizen and maintain a clean work area.
