Job summary

Husky Technologies in Milton, VT is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, read blueprints, and produce precision parts to tight tolerances. You will monitor performance, inspect finished work, and maintain tooling in a safety-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience setting up or operating CNC machines.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and work instructions.
• Comfort with measurement tools: calipers, micrometers and pin gauges.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, drills, grinders).
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work instructions.
• Load materials and ensure proper setup prior to operation.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Inspect parts and verify tolerance using measuring instruments.
• Maintain tooling and select correct tools for operations.
• Keep work area clean and safe; complete production documentation.
