Qualifications

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture locomotive and mining components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assemble components as required.
• Maintain production, quality, and safety standards.
• Properly use and maintain assigned tools and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and team-based manufacturing efforts.

Responsibilities

• As a CNC Machinist you will set up, operate, monitor, and adjust CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications.
• You will verify machine setups, inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, troubleshoot machining issues, maintain tooling, and support quality and production goals while following established safety and manufacturing procedures.
• The CNC Machinist contributes to successful manufacturing by producing high-quality components using CNC machining equipment and precision inspection methods.
• This role requires mechanical aptitude, technical expertise, and careful attention to detail.
• Successful CNC Machinist professionals understand machining processes, production efficiency, and quality control while supporting continuous improvement throughout manufacturing operations.
