Under direct or limited supervision, builds and machines parts from blueprints using a variety of manual and CNC machines. Positions are available for individuals ranging from entry‑level machinists to highly skilled machinists with advanced setup and programming experience.

Essential Functions

• Set up and take down projects.
• Machine parts from blueprints and work instructions.
• Safely operate manual and CNC machining equipment.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Maintain a safe work environment.

• Trigonometry skills preferred depending on position and experience level.

• Tolerance expectations will vary based on machine qualifications and experience level.

Machines

• Experience operating manual or CNC equipment preferred.
• Ability to learn and become qualified on additional machines.
• Setup responsibilities will vary based on experience and demonstrated skill level.
